Planting 100,000 trees annually, U-SAVE will help reduce the effects of climate change. We know U-SAVE can accomplish this with your support. When added to the carbon footprint reduction caused by building with structural timber, in place of steel and concrete, the planting of trees has a double advantage to the environment. Timber construction is a natural carbon sequestration process and planting new trees will replenish harvested sites, reforest brownfield sites, abandoned or closed sand and gravel pits, underutilized farm lands, forests damaged by wild-fires, and vast forest ranges devastated by earthquakes, landslides, and overcutting (Haiti as example). Planting 100,000 Trees annually can help save Earth from deforestation. You can be a part of this initiative in two ways. When you are a Client or Affiliate of U-SAVE, we will plant trees in your name, as a part of your membership fees, or you can make a small donation to our effort by following the link below. We will send you a "Certificate of Tree Planting" through our 'Forest Preservation Group' along with the species and location of the planting for your records.
